Sage Mirrorwork Cushion Cover

A pale sage-blue ground covered corner to corner in hand embroidery, set out as a patchwork of small squares and diamonds — lattice fills, chevron bands, concentric diamonds, tiny four-petal flowers. Most of it is worked in cream and white, with quiet accents of pink, lilac and peach, and small round mirrors set through the pattern so it shifts a little as the light moves. The densest piece in this collection, and entirely hand-worked, so no two are the same.
